Zachary Oberzan is van jongs af gefascineerd door Rambo. Niet de film maar de held uit het boek 'First Blood' waarop de bekende films zijn gebaseerd. Zijn hartstocht voor het het heldenverhaal gaat zo ver dat hij het tot de kleinste zweterige details na wil vertelen. Tot zijn geheugen hem in de steek laat en hij verstrikt raakt in een eenmansoorlog tegen het verhaal.

Since childhood, Zachary Oberzan has been fascinated by the heroic epic Rambo, First Blood (the book, of course...). This passion is pushed to the limit in ‘Rambo Solo’, when the hero attempts to tell his story as he remembers it, right down to the most minute sweaty details. Oberzan loses himself in the many minimum variations on the storyline that plague his failing memory and he becomes confused when he – just like Rambo – begins on a one-man war against this much-filmed story.
The other coproduction with Nature Theater in 2008 is Romeo & Juliet .
